Please pardon the delay in your bi-weekly ezine. My beloved Johnn (my hubby) had a traumatic head injury skiing and was life flighted to the hospiatal yesterday. He underwent neuro surjury. Myself and hundreds of loved ones were/are blessing him, praying and affirming his recovery. His mom is coming today from North Carolina. He had amazing medical care and his sweet doctor gave him and all of us a very positive prognosis. I love him more than anything and I would love for you to think, pray and affirm positive thoughts for him. Thank you!

I just wanted to tell Amanda, thank you for this wonderful experience. I have never felt happier or more energized in my life.

I have to be honest, I was a little skeptical at first as to how well this was going to work for me or if I would be able to give up dairy and sweets for a month. I also was at my wits end with food, stuck at a certain weight, working out everyday and I knew something needed to change, I guess it was me.

I found the whole experience was completely refreshing and Amanda was easy going and non-judgemental.

How to Bounce Back from an Unhealthy (but really fun) Weekend!

It'seasy to bounce back from an unhealthy weekend of eating and feeling outof balance. Here are some great tips to assist you on getting back intrack after a hectic (but fun) weekend.

Step 1: Forgive yourself! There is nothing worse than beating yourselfup black and blue for eating poorly and loosing your balance. Get overit! (I say that with love in my heart:)) Start your day fresh byfocusing on what you want and letting go of the past.

Step 2: As soon as you forgive yourself, set a new intention for yourday, your food and your attitude. For example:'I intend to eat welltoday. I intend to let go of sugar and alcohol today.' An intention isequivalent to placing your hands on the drivers wheel of your life.When you know your intentions, you are deliberately and powerfullycreating, crafting and producing your glorious life!

Step 3: Eat healthy! Make a list of all of the healthy foods and drinksyou can enjoy to nourish and heal your body, mind and spirit. Here aresome of my favorites:

*Kombucha is a handmade Chinese tea that is delicately cultured for 30days. It is an amazing power house of active enzymes, probiotics, aminoacids and antioxidants. You can buy Kombucha at your local health foodstore. I love GT Dave's, Gingeraid kind the best.

*Good old fashioned oatmeal with fresh fruit, walnuts and a tidbit of maple syrup.

* Organic fresh juiced vegetable juice either home made or from thehealth food store's juice bar. My favorite is a beautiful blend ofcucumber, ginger, spinach, beets, celery and parsley.

* A large organic green salad with organic olive oil.

And my all time favorite back to basics dinner is *stir fried Kale,carrots, peppers, onions, garlic and more kale!

Now write your list.

Step 3: Sweat! Exercise your body to release the old toxins, cleansethe skin and purify the body, mind and spirit. I love Bikram yoga!

Try these fantastic tips the next time you lose your balance! I promise they work!
